Handy Backup Home Standard is an automatic backup software oriented toward fully covering data protection needs of home users. The utility is designed for Windows 7/Vista/2003/XP and 2008/2003 Server, which is justified with Microsoft's logos ("Compatible with Windows 7", "Certified for Windows Vista", and others) and stably growing user community. Powerful backup options are delivered via a smart interface, empowered with pre-specified one-click backup tasks. Backup tasks are managed in an intuitive Task Wizard which provides easy data selection and step-by-step adjustment of backup options, including on the fly ZIP64 compression, 128-bit blowfish encryption, backup with timestamps, etc. The utility transfers all sorts of popular data types (files, folders, system settings, Outlook, My Documents, Favorites, etc.). For backing up popular apps, there are free plug-ins (Skype backup, Thunderbird copying, Photoshop backing up, and others) and tools for developing your own software extensions. The basic file-based backup functionality can be boosted with paid plug-ins, such as Image Backup (bootable recovery drive for Windows, Linux, HPFS, and other partitions), MySQL Server Backup, and much more. Handy Backup supports a wide choice of storage media and can back up to Cloud, FTP/SFTP, CD/DVD, network, USB, and other places. The program has a flexible scheduler providing automatic backup on a regular basis. The utility is easy to operate: it supports command line interface, e-mail notifications, and can run as a Windows service.
